In order to obtain approval for project activities under the CDM, project activity proponents should send to the Executive Secretariat of the Interministerial Commission on Global Climate Change (CIMGC) the documents listed in Articles 3 and 4 of Resolution no. 1, of September 11, 2003, of the CIMGC.

The "Manual for Submitting CDM Project Activities to the Interministerial Commission on Global Climate  Change, aimed at obtaining a Letter of Approval from the Brazilian Government" was prepared with the purpose of speeding up the process of consideration of project activities by the CIMGC.

The documents should be attached to a cover letter and sent to:
